This question should probably be more specific. I will try to answer as I see the question.

If you want to create a page that has pictures that overlay each other, this is done with CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). CSS is a way to format elements on a webpage. CSS also has positioning for elements. This could be text of pictures. Suppose you have your two pictures img1.jpg and img2.jpg. Lets also suppose that image 2 is 30 pixels wide. Here is an example of how to overlay them:

This example puts the CSS style inline, but would normally be done with a separate definition. The style is key in the second span tag. The position is relative to the images current position, a 40 pixel pad is added to the right hand side of the pic (moving it left). And a negative pad is put for the top value (moving the smaller pic up). The high z-index makes sure that the smaller picture will be on top (instead of underneath) the larger pic.

This method can be used to overlay things. Do know though, that if you are trying to watermark pictures so that people won’t copy them, this won’t work. The pictures themselves are still intact and can be copied

Question by Chloe: Is there a way to make “CLIP ART” smaller or larger when writing a letter on microsoft office?
I like to add SMALL lil’ pictures but some of them come out HUGE and others tiny. How can I make them the size I want them?
And also, why can’t I write next to them but only above or beneath?

Chloe – Usually all you have to do is “grab one of the little boxes that appear on the corners of the clip art or the sides and drag them to expand or shrink the clip art. A lot of clip art is vector based so you should not have any problems with messing it up.

As for writing next to them or under or over or around depends on your version of Word. But for the later versions right click on the clip art then choose Text Wrapping. Hope that helps!
