Question by Megan: What is an art print?
I am purchasing art for my home at posters.com. All my items are “art prints”. I figured that it was a poster board type material, but was a little nervous when i saw them priced so cheaply, thinking they may be just like posters or even printer paper.
One more question, if it is a poster material, would it be shiny? I am interested in some paintings (for example, almond blossom by Van Gogh) and do not want it to have a cheap looking shine to it….

you bought it off posters.com its a poster. hmm it depends on what sight you get it off the quality if its shine or flat…uhm ive never ordered off there so i dont know fo rsure but id say that its going ot be a bit glossy
prints are just that. a print of the orig art work..the type of paper very from print to print. most top Quality prints are on a bristle paper which is like poster board but thin like well paper. it will only be shiny if it is laminated so look for a matt or flat finish…
