Question by alamode: What are some topics relating to art or fashion for the theme “Conflict and Compromise in History”?
I need to do a project that relates to the theme “Conflict and Compromise” but I’d rather do a social/cultural aspect than a military/political aspect but I can’t think of anything. Ideas?

I met a Ph.d student who was working on a bigger research paper that study the evolution of fashion and the widower or fashion and grieving in Asian cultures…perhaps you could jump from that idea
