Article Source: http://www.articlesbase.com/ – The Future Of Cars
The Indian car market is over crowded with cars almost from every segment. We have car from small to sedan and from SUVs to luxury cars. Every car is enhanced with latest technology and features and with the invention of more technologies, the future cars would carry more advanced and unique technologies.
What will be the future of cars in 10-12 years now? The car will be more paced. By 2020, cars will be intellectual, greener, and connected, with car manufacturers setting up personal mobility solutions. In the next 12 years we can see the various changes in the Indian car market.
Currently there are car manufacturers who are launching environment-friendly cars that will not cut down the burden but of increasing fuel price but will also support the green nature. It is speculated that by the year 2020, the car companies are expected to make a model shift from low cost work to a quest of high end technical knowledge and appropriate skills. This will eventually lead to redistribution of work purely based on the easy availability of skilled resources and equipments.
The changing trend of the Indian auto market is also pointing some of the other essential suggestions that will definitely take the market to a better height. The first approach will be to educate the new car owners especially the ones who are first time car buyers about the car technology, car features and other car essentials.
By 2020, new car markets will emerge in India that will support such stages and learning of development. The redistribution of corporate functions has been started in the global auto industry which will also change the complexity of car ownership. Global OEMs will then extend their footprints in the growing markets like India.
The entire revamping of the process, ownership and strategies will affect all those associated with the car industry including the buyer, manufacturer and the dealer. This is because different people around the world buy vehicles very differently. Some want cars just for daily commuting from home to office, some need for weekends, some for glory and some even for show-off. As the requirements differ from person to person, any kind of change at one level of the complete buying process will directly impact the entire revamped process.
The current car generation lays importance on the sustainability and advanced engine technology especially battery technologies. Many innovations and advancements are noticed in the sector of electric cars and plug-in hybrids. Gradually, the phase of electric cars will shine over all with the fast rising fuel prices and automotive pollution.
In the present scenario, the infrastructure in India is not supportive for the electric cars and plug-in hybrids. Tremendous innovation and growth is expected in the next 10-12 years which will not only improve the infrastructure but will also gradually phase out pure gasoline cars. To give view to this fact, Electric utility companies, local and federal governments, and the Indian automotive industry will have to work in association so that easy electricity is provided to all vehicle owners. The country needs the charging stations at various different places including the parking areas, fueling stations and even the highway service areas.
With the increasing years the cars would be seen with technologies that will be beyond our imagination.
