the best alien film since Alien/s. better than Avatar.
I watched Avatar then the next day checked out District 9……then thought hey let me watch Transformers to to compare….District 9 beat the Sh** out of those 2 movies…next time i have the time i’m watching it again!

I haven’t seen this yet, but want to, so I had my mom watch this and she didn’t get 20 munites in before she came to me and told me she hated it because she thought it was stupid and boring LOL. I’m learning that Syfi is not her genre.

This film… I can’t even put it into words. It was one of the single greatest films I have ever seen. Evar.
i really hate this review nd can’t understand wats so good about the movie from it but i’ll watch the movie anyways. Cory is obviously the token of the show because black people aren’t the ones who eat dogs, dolphin or better yet other people(lol Dahmer).
@KnittinBlonde i agree I think its one of the greatest sci-fi films ever made.
district 9 was believable and very awe inspiring, yes, but the story was so damn confusing and it just sucked. Its defiantly one of those mature movies. Not mature cause of the swears or the gore or anything like that, but mature in the fact that the story is mature. The dialague is mature and unless you are an adult it might be hard to follow the story completely.
I could not possibly see how someone could hate this movie. I’m looking to you, Mr. Nostalgia Critic.

The movie scare’s you if you are afraid of ghost. And if you believe in this. I don’t believe it but i find it pretty scary ;)

I thought the film was stupid. They ending was crap and made it so unrealistic. I admit though in some places I did jump… but I wouldn’t recommend it.

i do have imagination and I do get scared, the movie is totally diferent than anything ….great film with a small budget, by the way Katie is incredible!

The movie doesn’t “build” like people keep saying it does. It goes from absolutely nothing to absolutely ridiculous with no build up in between.

watched it last night. . .was bull shit. . . only part that freaked me out was when she got dragged out of her bed, and the ending when she just stands there for like 2hours and then after kills the guy walks up the camera, , thats was freaky. rest was shit!! like the flying up to the camera, stupid!!
